CITB Site Safety Plus

This CITB Health and Safety Awareness course is for those who have entered, or are about to enter, the construction and civil engineering industry as a member of the workforce to help them understand the potential hazards that they face at work on site.

The SMSTS course is aimed at site managers, agents and persons who are, or are about to be, responsible for planning, organising, monitoring, controlling and administering groups of staff and workforce. SMSTS courses cover all relevant legislation and other aspects which affect safe working in the building, construction and civil engineering industries.

The SSSTS course is intended for those who have, or are about to acquire, supervisory responsibilities. It provides supervisors with an understanding of health, safety, welfare and environmental issues, as well as their legal responsibilities relevant to their work activities.

The SMSTS Refresher course is a two-day course for delegates who have previously passed the full Site Management Safety Training Scheme course or subsequent refresher course, and can provide proof of attendance.

This one-day refresher course is for delegates who have previously passed the two-day Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) course and can provide proof of successful attendance.

This one-day course is designed for those who have, or are about to acquire, supervisory responsibilities.

The Director's Role for Health and Safety (DRHS) is a one-day interactive course that has been designed for company directors and senior managers active in a health and safety strategic role in the built environment, with the aim of recognising director's duties of care and the implications of non-compliance with health and safety legislation.

This two-day course is designed to assist those who have responsibility for managing all forms of temporary works on site. The course seeks to improve the knowledge of this role and the temporary works environment.
